Adult Constructive Surgery Fellowship

Overview

High volume private practice setting in the north-central recreational area of Minnesota. Gain experience in navigated anterior hip replacement, robotic total knee replacement, shoulder reconstruction as well as revision and infection work–all while enjoying the outdoors and mountain biking trails of the Cuyuna Lakes area. The fellowship entails working with two surgeons and upon completion of the one-year fellowship, candidates will be ready to enter private practice and navigate any challenges that present. The focus of this fellowship is on the development of the candidate for real world practice with an outcomes-based approach.

Research opportunities and registry data are available. We will prepare the candidate to take great care of patients and be successful in navigating the challenges presented by modern surgical practices, all while being able to blend emerging technologies into a time-honored, principled base practice.

Dr. Matthew Musto completed MCO’s first adult reconstruction fellowship in July 2023.  Dr. Katherine Paul will begin the second fellowship in August 2023.

Cuyuna Lakes

CRMC is located in Crosby, Minnesota, in the heart of the Cuyuna Lakes Area. The area’s major attraction is the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area which boasts 25 miles of forested shoreline providing peaceful relaxation for those who desire a rustic experience. Leave technology behind and embrace the sun dancing on quiet, crystal blue waters, the crackling warmth of a campfire and the haunting call of loons. Start the day by mountain biking over 25 miles of trails. Spend a lazy afternoon paddling in a canoe or kayak on mine lakes. Slip over the side in scuba gear and explore the remnants of an iron mine hundreds of feet below the still surface.

We’re open from Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 5PM. If you’re not sure of a service we offer, give us a call at (866) 362-0873
